Robert Four has the exclusive right to manufacture the famous French hand-knotted carpets known as Tapis de Savonnerie. In the XXIst century, the Manufacture has re-invented them by bringing to the archives new interpretations adapted for the requirements of his connoisseur customers. The textile designer, Janaina Milheiro, by the introduction of feathers, transforms fragments of Aubusson tapestries into veritable works of contemporary art, resembling sculptures or artefacts.
